When the Sun Shines — Fine Art Print
When the Sun Shines is a fine art print by Irish artist Kevin Lowery.
“And so, there in Glenlough and at the fireside of Dan and Rose Ward began what were to be four months of such happiness as, but for my loyalty to other happy times, I would call the very happiest of all my life.”
Rockwell Kent, It’s Me O Lord (1955)
Created as part of Kevin Lowery’s LAND’S END - An Artist’s Journey to Glenlough 100 Years After Rockwell Kent exhibition, When the Sun Shines is a tribute to Kent’s painting of the same name, inspired by the monumental sea cliffs and untamed Atlantic landscape of County Donegal. The work reflects Kevin’s experience of travelling through and painting a landscape shaped by exposure, isolation and continually changing weather.
The exhibition runs at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny, from October 3 to November 14.
Professionally produced using museum-quality giclée printing using archival inks on fine art paper, each print is individually signed and titled by Kevin Lowery. Available in three sizes, unframed.
